About the Creator

My name is Laura Munoz and Lunas Haven is a love letter to the women who raised me, the streets that shaped me, and the dreams I stitched together. 

I come from a lineage of strong resourceful women - mujeres who made beauty out of scraps and found softness in survival. Sewing to me isn't just a skill, it's a language.  One passed down in silence, in rhythm, in care. That quiet legacy lives in every piece I make.

Lunas haven was born in a small apartment on Broadway, but its roots run deeper. Through generations, and across borders. I work primarily with sustainable fabrics like deadstock and thrifted textiles, breathing new life into materials that might otherwise be forgotten. Every garment is handmade, size-inclusive, bold, raw and romantic - made for the girls who feel everything deeply and wear their hearts like armor.  

The name Luna’s Haven reflects my vision: a safe, creative space inspired by the moon’s quiet strength and constant transformation. Just like the phases of the moon, fashion is cyclical, emotional, and ever-changing—yet always beautiful.

My first collection, “Feeling Blue,” was born during a season of stillness and melancholy. In creating, I discovered that even in our bluest hours, beauty waits to be found. These garments are my love letter to that moment: an offering of softness, strength, and renewal.
